Neil Young “Heart of Gold”

Neil Young playing “Heart of Gold” live at the BBC in 1971. From the same live performance that included “Old Man” and “Don’t Let it Bring You Down,” these songs had not even been released on an album at the time of this show and would appear on the album Harvest, released the following year. Neil Young has written many great songs in his career, which is why it’s hard to believe this is his only number 1 single in the U.S. to date!
